The clouds were scattered across the dark sky, there was a gray hue that cast down. A crispness in the air followed by a chill. Autumn was here in full swing, it would only be a matter of weeks before the dreaded winter would be upon everything. However for today, there was a light rain coming down with a strong breeze. As much as he loved the season, Shoto hated being cold but he hated being hot even more.. the happy ground for warmth was hard to come by most of the time. It was late afternoon just before rush hour.
Shoto had just finished up almost two full days of filming for a movie he was working on. A spin off of a hit tv series he was apart of. A show where he was an ex soldier turned flight medic who in the movie was trying to overcome the injuries of his helicopter crashing. It was a role that hit hard to home but being able to pull from his experiences, he was impressing the heck out of everyone on set. There was only a week left of filming and he was glad to be moving on from the movie. Filming the tv series seemed easier than the schedule for a movie.
Even though he was exhausted, he rounding himself needing to wind down. However he was not quite sure what to do. As he walked down the street, his cobalt blue eyes glancing at the window displays of stores as they passed by him. Nothing truly standing out too him then again he was not up for shopping. Not even his usually drunken one night stand sound like it would hit the stop. He was tired of the different faces, the different smells and touches… he longed for more but there was two parts of him still hung up elsewhere.
When he came back to the present, he found himself at a back corner of some bar with a drink in front of him. He wasn’t even sure how he got here let alone how long he had been here. His drink was untouched and he finally noticed that the bar was a little crowded. It was typical dinner time crowd, people mostly here for a bite to eat. Shoto’s phone vibrated in the pocket of his coat, he reached inside his leather jacket and pulled it out. His agent, nothing he wanted to deal with. Whatever was going on, it would and could wait.
After sitting his phone down, he reached up and lifted his glasses so he could rub his tired eyes. Normally he wore contacts but when he was out in the public, he had to try and avoid looking like he did on the screen. Tonight he had his glasses and a hat on, looking like college student than an adult… a leather jacket with a blue button up shirt and a pair of jeans finished off his tall lanky body. He glanced around the room before finally taking a sip of his beer. Shoto wasn’t sure what the night would bring, he just wanted it to be a quite a evening.
